Golden Gate closed access!

I upgraded my iMac to Golden Gate 27.0.1

It's been a while since I did any updates, I don't know what it previously was.

But I can not open Logic Pro now. Any help is greatly appreciated.

In case anyone else has this problem... Here's the fix:

  1. Back up your current app (recommended): Open the Applications folder, right-click Logic Pro, and choose Duplicate.
  2. Rename the copy (e.g., "Logic Pro 11") so you can revert if needed.
  3. Open the App Store and make sure you're signed in with the Apple ID that originally purchased Logic Pro.
  4. Search for "Logic Pro" in the App Store.
  5. You'll likely see an "Open" button in the search results — don't click that.
  6. Instead, click on the Logic Pro image/icon to go to the app's detail page.
  7. On the detail page, you'll see an "Update" button. Click it and the free upgrade to Logic Pro 12 will download and install.
