Calendar view post iOS 27 update monthly view

After iOS 27 update, I cannot see a monthly view in Calendar. I’ve clicked on every option back-and-forth and can’t even see a way to do that please help. I just hate this new view why they don’t ask the community when they make this kind of change, which is dramatic and dramatically affects how you use the application is beyond me just beyond me. I just hate this update.

The default view seems to now be a daily view. This was initially consterning.

However, I was able to restore to the monthly view by tapping on the month name at the upper left. Then tapping on the view button (left of the search button) and selecting "list" restored the calendar view to the way I've used it for years.

The setting was sticky if I exited the calendar app and restarted.

I don’t like the calendar view changed by iOS 27.0.1. How can I change the view to the previous version.

You don't. You can, however, take a look at some of the hundreds (thousands?) of third-party calendar apps available in the App Store. Perhaps one of them would better suit your needs.
