Control Center text size option for specific apps missing in iOS 27

in ios 27 on my phone the Control Center option to increase text size of a specific app is gone. The text size slider appears but no longer shows the option to restrict the change to the app you’re in, such as Mail, or to change it for all apps. Is there some other way to change the text size of Mail messages? I’m familiar with the Accessibility increase text options but those have no effect on Mail on my phone. What should appear, and used to appear in Control Center in ios 26 and before is shown in my image below. This does appear properly on my ipad but not on my phone.

So no one here in Apple Support Communities can help with user issues..hmm🤔 Guess they should be closed. However, for whatever it’s worth magically my issue seems to have healed itself. I just tried pulling control center down while in Safari and the “Safari Only” option appeared under the slider. Thinking it was just Mail that was the problem I went back to it, and everything was appearing there properly also. Don’t have a clue what happened.

That wasn't very nice. While I'm glad your issue resolved itself, this is a volunteer user to user support forum. It's not like legions of volunteers were online waiting for your issue to address. People help out here on their own time, as time permits.

Hopefully someone who uses ios 27 on an iphone, especially an 18 Pro Max such as mine may come looking to find a solution to the problem, or have a solution themselves and will chime in here just as I’ve done over many years. I’m going to doubt that I’m the only one who has noted this. It’s very easy to check, for anyone interested, just launch an app and pull down CC, long press the text-size slider and see what appears. Unfortunately the “App Only” option has disappeared again. I was not reaching out to Apple here, I have official mechanisms with which to do that. I was looking to find users that may have possibly experienced the issue, and might have an idea beyond “feedback to Apple”. I have helped many and have been helped by many here in the past which is what I sought to do here. I believe that’s why the “Ask the Community” tab exists at the top of the page.
