Magic Trackpad and apple pencil collaboration.
Magic Trackpad (USB‑C) - White Multi-Touch Surface
can we get update (HW/SW) so that we can use apple pencil on magic Trackpad for hand writing purpose in mac.
Question marked as
The Magic Trackpad is fundamentally not designed or intended to accept input from an Apple Pencil.
The Apple Pencil has an active transducer element (located beneath the user-replaceable tip) that interacts directly with the iPad screen - and nothing else. As such, unlike a cheap passive capacitive stylus' (that behaves just like your finger) an Apple Pencil won't be recognised by the Magic TrackPad.
A software update cannot change hardware-specific functionality.
