Updated my 15 Pro Max to IOS 27.0.1 and since then messages to non-iPhone user are sending as SMS and taking ages to be received. Some are disappearing. I have checked the suggested fixes (toggling Airplane mode, checking RCS active etc) but still no change. Messages worked fine before update. Anyone else had issue ?

Did you already try to force restart your iPhone after the recent iOS update?

If this does not help, you should report this issue to Apple Techs directly by using the Feedback link, Apple does not follow these user to user communities.
Also contact your carrier, in case this is a known issue from their side.
