AirPrint has worked flawlessly for the past 15 years, though multiple macOS upgrades, printer vender stopping support of their very old printer. AirPrint has kept my printers in service.

Current is a Brother AirPrint compatible, network attached, multifunction, B&W, laser printer (MFC-L2750DW).

Before that, it was an HP AirPrint compatible, network attached, multifunction, B&W, laser printer. I would still have that printer, except a lightning strike took it out, after 12 years of service.

Buy an AirPrint printer which meets your printing needs …

… and print. (From Macs, iPads, and iPhones)

Printers are sometimes “less than intuitive” to initially setup, but once they “come in” they generally keep on working.

My experience? I have an AirPrint printer, on the same network as my iPhone. I choose print and it prints.
