AssistiveTouch function failing on iPhone 18 pro

confirm with AssistiveTouch is not working on my phone 18 pro. I followed the process of switching this on but when I try to use it while app download or for Apple Pay, nothing happens when I tap the on screen floating button of AssistiveTouch.
