Keyboard sound cuts out after switching to Emoji keyboard, selecting an emoji, and then switching back to normal keyboard. This started with iOS 27 and it’s very annoying.

Try this:
Keyboard sounds are controlled under Keyboard Feedback, so if that setting is still enabled, the Emoji-switching behavior is likely a software glitch.

I have been experiencing the same bug and have confirmed the behavior is consistent with opening the emoji keyboard.
Toggling the sound button in the haptics menu and restarting my iPhone did not resolve the problem.
This is quite annoying.
