Lost Numbers File....Where are you?

Please help. I had my household budget which was prepared with Numbers vanish from my screen and files. I don't know what happened that caused the file to disappear, but any assistance in locating it on my laptop would be helpful. It simutaneously disappeared from both of my iPads as well. So, it should at the very least still be present in the cloud, but I haven't been able to find there either. Recommendations???
