Camera continuity not working.

Camera continuity has stopped working for over a year now. I used for a while after its introduction, but then suddenly I only got a black screen without image when using it. Later, my Mac simply didn't recognize my iPhone as a nearby device when I open camera setting in Teams/Facetime/Meet/... Mac & phone are on the same Apple acount, same wifi network and bluetooth is enabled. (Camera) continuity is switched on for both of them. I hoped that iOS 27 and macOS 27 would fix the issue, but it has not.

I have been looking online to find solutions but cannot find anything. The official page on camera continuity is of no help. I recently reset my network settings on my iPhone, but this didn't help. One thing I'm going to try next is to sign out & back into my Apple account on both devices, but I have little hope.

Does anybody else experience this and knows what can be done?

iPhone 13, iOS 27.0.1

Lockdown mode enabled on both devices.
