I’ve been trying to find the trash option in mail after it has been sent to bin . I’ve swiped left on email but just get the options unread or remind me I’ve also tried a number of options to find the trash button but to avail .
is there anyone who can help .

If something was sent to the trash it will be in the trash folder or mailbox for the mail account it was sent to form which it was deleted.
What device or computer are you doing this on? You posted in the "Earlier Operating Systems" forum which is for older Macs, but your device line says you have an iPhone 14. To get specific instructions you need to tell us what device you are doing this on and what OS it is running.
On an iPhone tap on the < icon at the top left corner until you see all the mailboxes, then scroll down to the Trahs mailbox for the account the email was deleted from.

Usually Delete and "trash" mean generally the same thing. Apple may use different terms depending on the lanaguge region
For US English, the word is still "trash" however.
For UK english it may say "Bin".
Apologies, I am running iOS 26.6.2 on both iPad and iPhone . When I swipe left on an email I get two options Flag and Remind me. When I swipe right I get three options more, move, and Delete . The sub menu when I click more: it doesn’t give me an option to Trash, am I right in thinking that the Delete option has replaced the Trash option ?
