Wondering whether or not the MBP has been removed from your device list. ie: You can check your Apple ID device list to see where you're signed in:

Did you ever remove it from your Apple Account's device list? Did you ever remove your Apple ID from Preferences (aka Settings) in the MBPro?

Is the MBPro in your possession? Have you charged the battery, booted it and connected it to the internet? Is your Apple Account associated with the MBPro (see Settings > Apple ID on the MBPro) After doing so, does it show up in your Apple Account?
