E Mail replies are sent to draft folder and not to Sender

We have several accounts using Apple e-mail. However, when using one of the accounts my e-mail replies are sent to draft and not to the sender but remain in draft. I am unable to send the e-mail reply. This only occurs on one of our e-mail accounts. VPN is off. Is there a changer in settingsn I need to do?
