iCal won’t work on any browser, Apple support says 🤷🏻‍♂️

iCalendar is not working on any browser. When I log into iCloud, I am able to access every single thing except for iCalendar.

Multiple calls with support have told me that their engineering team does not currently have a fix for this, and that they do not have a timeline when they expect to have a fix for this. I have been fighting this issue for several years.

They won’t offer me a price reduction or any type of help other than song or movie credits, while I wait for the service that I pay for to function (I already pay for full streaming access to Music and AppleTV)

Can anyone give me any tips on how to get it to work? The problem is repeatable on Apple devices and Windows devices.

Apple, you wanna step up and back up your product? I’ve been an Apple customer for decades, but am feeling pretty let down by your lack of service and support.

It is not clear what issue you are having or if you are receiving an error message. If so, it would be best to update with those details. If you are using a VPN, remove it as that can be problematic when accessing some Apple Services. You would need to uninstall it, not just turn it off.

You are not speaking to Apple here and they won't see your post even when addressing them. This is simply a Community site of other users. For me, there is no problem at all accessing and updating my Calendar in iCloud where those changes are synced to all devices. So it would appear you are experiencing some local issue, which is why I recommended to remove any VPN.

I assume you have turned off Calendar syncing in iCloud and waited a couple of minutes before turning it back on. I would also recommend letting us know which Apple devices you are using and the specific browser. A browser extension can also cause a conflict, but not enough information has been provided in order to provide any additional assistance here.

This is my iCloud Calendar using Safari with no Extensions on a Mac, and also no VPN.

Apologies - I had just gotten off the phone with support and was feeling salty. Didn't realize they aren't checking these boards, petty callout withdrawn.

Thank you for any help you can offer with the following, I appreciate it.

I can log into iCloud with no issues. I can access every other iCloud resource (pics, notes, etc), but receive an error message in browser when attempting to open iCloud. I've attached a screenshot of part of the error message below, but it's incomplete. The error text is very long, and it won't allow me to select it to copy and paste directly.

Issue happens on all browsers that I've tried (Safari on a MacBook Air, Safari on iPad, Chrome on Windows, and Edge on Windows). I'm not using a VPN that I know of. The Windows device is a managed one through my work with limited access to the settings on my end, but the Mac belongs to someone I know and the iPad is my child's. This error is encountered when I log in on private or non-private browsing on all browsers mentioned above, all of which are the most currently updated versions.

iCalendar works properly on my phone, but I'm trying to manage more inputs than I care to continue dealing with on the smaller phone interface. I have the Pro Max 14. I hadn't tried turning iCal sync off and back on again prior to your suggestion, but doing so hasn't corrected the error.

I've recreated the issue with the senior support team at apple, including sending them screenshots of the developer tools that show what's happening in the page code (I assume that's what I was sending them). The support person today said it's a 'known issue.'

Screenshot of the error message follows:
