I just recently switched to an iPhone 18 PM, and I’ve noticed an issue: when I’m playing Clash Royale with my AirPods 4 and someone calls me, and I answer on my phone, my AirPods 4 have no sound. Even if I close the game, when I make a call, there’s no busy tone, and I can’t hear the other person speaking either.

Does this happen at other times? If it doesn't, it sounds as if the game is not properly releasing control of the audio. See if there is an update to the game.

That makes it sound as if it's more than just the game. But start with checking for an update for the game. Also, make sure the phone is updated to iOS 27.0.1.
