When to update iPhone SE with 85% battery capacity?

We have 2 SE3's. Mine has only 85% battery capacity. My wife's is at 90%. Should we update now or wait until additional update iterations come out?

Might as well do it now. For any device you should ideally have the iPhone connected to power while updating and not rely upon battery. I suspect most power drain will occur for a short while after updating while the device is re-indexing the contents.

85% isn't catastrophic. Apple considers 80% to be time to consider replacing the battery, or device it it is an old model.
