Pages documents not syncing between iPad and iPhone using iCloud

Synchronizing Pages documents between iPad and iPhone?

I’ve enabled iCloud for Pages on both devices, but my Pages documents show up only on the iPad. When I did the same for “Books” it all worked as expected, and I can read anything on either device with full synchronisation of bookmarks etc.

How do I get the same behaviour with Pages? (I saw a community post suggesting that a reboot might help, but I’ve done that, without success.)
