AppleCare does not help!

I recently experienced damage to my AirPods Pro 3 case when my child threw it from the car window onto the highway. I did not notice until I was several miles away. After learning this, I contacted Apple because I have AppleCare for my AirPods Pro 3. I used the Find My app and confirmed the case was on the highway. Traffic and congestion made retrieval impossible. However, Apple policy required the damaged case, so I was asked whether I could still recover it from the highway—an absurd request. Given my unusual situation, I had to pay full price for a replacement case. It is surprising that AppleCare offers no exceptions to this rule, particularly for life-threatening circumstances. The warranty product has serious gaps in coverage that it’s not even worth having AppleCare for this product! APPLE please fix this!!!!
