Garageband crashing getting worse, after forced move from iPadOS 18.

From what I can assess, having spent literally man-weeks on trying different song files, and brand new song files, this is due to Apple doing two things: 1 - blocking/crashing whenever a song that has utilised the ‘MIDI drum hack’ feature is selected; 2 - a ‘pre-checker’ routine seems to be running, for the afore-mentioned disallowed ‘hack’, and this takes about 3 seconds per song, if you attempt to run any song before the allotted minutes of pre-checking/scrutiny are up, the crash occurs, and damage seems to be done to the song files such that it is highly unlikely that song will ever run again.

I ask for information on two things: 1- has anyone else experienced this, because influencers are resolutely silent and I have seen only general crashes mentioned in other forums/fora; 2 - is anyone aware of Apple admitting to having incorporated such a block, and such a checker?

I have had to formulate a theory that fits the behaviour, but contact attempted with the CEO of Apple, and others, has resulted in neither acknowledgement nor reply.

I love GarageBand, and it is the only music making software I use, including for Apple Music songs, but it has become useless, rendering my purchase of the top-spec M5 iPad Pro, pointless and expensive.

Help please?! I went through an enormous amount of time with Apple Support, and try though they did, they had no knowledge of this niche issue. I was not prepared to delete the app and the data, which was the final suggestion.
