iPad Pro 11" (4th Gen) Touch Screen Completely Unresponsive

I am having a critical issue with my iPad Pro 11-inch (4th Gen, Model A2759) and am looking for advice or to see if anyone else has faced this.

The Issue:

  • The touch screen is 100% unresponsive to any finger inputs.
  • The iPad turns on completely normally.
  • The gyroscope/accelerometer works perfectly (the screen rotates fine when I turn the device).

What I have already tried:

  1. Hard Restart / Force Restart multiple times (No luck).
  2. Full System Restore via a computer (Successfully restored, but the touch still does not work on the setup screen).
  3. Removed the screen protector and case to rule out physical pressure.
  4. Since the screen rotates and powers on, it seems like the logic board is fine, but the touch digitizer or connector has failed.

Has anyone experienced this specific issue where only touch dies but rotation works? If it is a hardware failure, I'd also appreciate any recommendations for reliable service routes in Bangalore.

You would be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.

Alternatively you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

You might also visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to assist with troubleshooting. Given your locale, you will most likely be looking for an AASP:

Welcome and thank you for reaching out. 🤗

There appears to be a problem with the internal display panel. Only a certified Apple technician can determine the cause and offer a complete solution.

Therefore, I recommend service.
