Apple Podcasts app transcription feature is disabled, doesn’t work

What is up with the Apple Podcast app transcription button? It’s been greyed out since an iOS update in August 2026 for all my several podcasts. Is this a change, something wrong with my settings, or what? I rely on this feature often and don’t want to lose it; that it’s still there, albeit disabled, gives me hope! Thanks
