There was a time when all of the apps that were on my iPhone and iPad would automatically be updated. I have noticed that no longer happens. Am I able to change this to insure that it will happen ?

Have you look on your ipad, settings - apps - appstore - app updates - ON?
iPad is not updating the apps automatically
