iPhone icons and text suddenly appear smaller
Why do the icons and text on my iPhone suddenly become smaller at the same time, even though I haven’t changed any settings?

Any chance the Zoom options are enabled in Settings -> Accessibility -> Zoom?
Also check Settings -> Appearance -> Text Size, if the slider is still set correctly. The default settings would be right in the middle.
"Display Zoom" may also be set to a different option.
