Just bought an Apple gift card for my daughter in Germany, but because my Apple account is in the USA, the gift card is unredeemable by her in Germany. Is there any way I can cancel the gift card since she can't use it?

The name on the card is irrelevant.
You simply enter the redemption code during the redemption onto your account.
