Macbook pro M3 max wont charge while its on. Or switch to power supply.

Hi, I have Macbook pro m3 max, when i plug the power adaptor, it turns orange but stay on battery and it won't charge, also won't accept charge or power from USB-C, that happened after a power surge that burned the power extension's fuse. On the same day my OS is also was unable to update and it crashes. A rivive was done and followed by Restore from another device, now the computer can slowly charge if its completely turned off, and the MacOS can start up only if i visit the start options and reinstall the macOs. And only runs on battery no power supply available.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 27.0

This is likely a hardware issue.

If you have an Apple-owned store available to you, your appointment for an evaluation is free, in warranty or out.

Apple-Authorized Service Providers may charge an evaluation fee, to keep you from consuming expensive technician time over frivolous issues. (If the evaluation results in a repair, it was not frivolous.)

Its frustrating to have that in a middle of a project 😒 .. i keep forcing it to turn on. I will definitely go to a repair shop. But i dont think i can make it untill next week.
