problem to upgrade my appletv

Cant upgrade my TvOS on my appletv.....I hace try several times to run the upgarade but it dont inslaa the last TvOS and remain on that that was from beginnig

Apple TV 4K, tvOS 16

If your Apple TV is on tvOS 16 (from 2022/2023), then the jump-in-one-go to tvOS 26/27 may be too much for the regular on‑device updater.

Instead try the Reset and Update option.

Reset or restore your Apple TV to its factory settings - Apple Support

Else contact Apple (or an Apple Authorized Service Provider) for assistance.

Update your Apple TV - Apple Support

Get service - Apple Support

They may ask for your exact model. There are now 4 (almost 5*) 4K models: A1842, A2169, A2737, A2843.

Find your Apple TV model number - Apple Support

Yea that was what I was afraid for ...I have apps that I have payed for and thinking I gonna do it without reset appletv , but it seems that thats the only thing to do to be able to upgrade it.....do you know any way to keep the apps without have to pay for them again?? Or is it a way to choose what upgrade of tvos you wanna install??
