Time Machine Not Recognized
Mac Studio all of a sudden won't recognize Time Machine for back up. I ran first aid, ok, volume repair on Tech tool, and when I try to back up it says: "Try backing up again when "Time Machine" is available.
I figured I would erase, run first aid, delete it in System Settings, and add again and it works fine. Weird how it just stops working. FYI.

PROBLEM SOLVED!
The symptoms you describe are consistent with spontaneous dismounting, and may presage hard disk drive failure.
If that is your only backup drive, consider adding at least one more to Time Machine. Using one and only one backup drive does not comprise a robust backup strategy.
How old is the backup drive...?
What make, model and size is the backup drive...?
1) If the backup drive is having problems or is not twice the size of your Mac's internal drive, then it needs to be replaced.
2) If your system or backup drive are being modified by third-party software like TechTool, then all reliability bets are off.
