Hi,

To fix your Mac not finding the Epson XP-2200 via AirPrint, verify that both devices are connected to the exact same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and restart them.

Network and Device Checks

  • Check Wi-Fi Band: Ensure your Mac is not on a 5 GHz band while the printer is on a 2.4 GHz band if your router isolates them, or ensure they share the identical SSID.
  • Restart Everything: Turn off your Epson XP-2200, restart your Mac, and reboot your Wi-Fi router.
  • Wake Printer: Make sure the printer is fully awake and not in an eco-sleep or power-saving mode that drops network discovery.

Re-add the Printer on Your Mac

  1. Open System Settings (or System Preferences) on your Mac and go to Printers & Scanners.
  2. Select your Epson XP-2200 if it is listed, right-click, and choose Remove Printer.
  3. Click the Add Printer or Scanner (+) button.
  4. If it does not show up automatically via Bonjour, select the IP tab and enter your printer's local IP address manually.
  5. If AirPrint fails to auto-select, download the official software package or drivers directly from the Epson Support Website to complete the pairing.
