Try this test:
1) select all clips in first alf of your project. Paste them in a new project.
2) do the same thing with all clips from second part.
3) Try to export both projects.
If an error occurs with just one of your projects, the problem may be related to one corrupted clip. Try to locate it by narrowing your export tests.

How much free space on your drive? Beware that “available” is not the same as free.
Also: always when the application crashes or misbehaves, one should reset its preferences. To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting the application and click Delete Custom Settings. The application will start with default settings and open an “Untitled” library. Adjust the settings, reopen the library you were working, and see how it works now.
Hi(bonjour),
We need more details to help you. What is the video format of your original material? What is the configuration on your drive(s): internal, external, what format, what connection type? What are project settings?
Are you able to export another project with just 5 or 6 clips edited? Did you render before export? Did you delete render file? Every details matter.

I’ve export several short projects: with about four to five clips.
I delete render files after each project is exported: and have background rendering turned off.
Right … the videos are a mix of bog standard .mov files recorded with an MX Brio webcam, and a variety of MP4s(.mov files with video in Apple ProRes and Linear PCM audio.)
There’s images in a variety of image formats: usually jpg or webP.
This is done on a M4 Mac Mini, with a 1tb internal drive.
Disc Utility tells me there’s ~689gb on a one terabyte drive.
Yes: I reset every time it acts up: by holding option
