Why is my MacBook Pro missing from Find My on iPhone and iCloud?

My MacBook Pro 13-inch M1 (2020) is missing from the Devices list in Find My on my iPhone and iCloud.com/find. Find My Mac and Find My network both show as On in my Mac's iCloud settings. I've enabled Location Services and restarted my Mac, but the issue persists. In System Settings > Apple Account > Device Info, Find My Mac still showed Off previously. Could you help me troubleshoot this account or device registration issue?

Contact Apple Support:

It is not showing up, because the Serial Number does not exist in Apple's database. So, you need to get this fixed. Either it is a fraudulent device, or it is a mistype in Apple's device database. So, take this up with Apple. This is of major concern, and should be fixed on Apple's end, if applicable.

Investigating this:

Being invalid, who is the seller? If not Apple, then return this, as it is a potential scam. Format this, and sign out of iCloud on it, before returning this. On the other hand, if purchased from Apple, a Retailer, or an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider), it is an error in Apple's device database. So, contact Apple Support to verify that this is, indeed, invalid.

Mac Showing as "Off" in Find My:

The Serial Number is Invalid.

This may not be a valid Serial Number. Entering your Serial Number here: https://checkcoverage.apple.com/, it does not show up as an existing device. So, contact Apple Support.
