Iphone 17 pro won’t stop auto dimming my screen after 20 seconds

iphone 17 pro auto dims screen even after turning off all the settings for it not to. I turned off low power mode, turned off Aod, I turned whatever the automatic dimming setting was called to never, I turned off auto brightness, and it still doesn’t work.
