How do I remove the "Set up Talk to Siri" nag from the iOS 27 settings screen?

How do I remove the Set up Talk to Siri nag from the Settings screen on iOS 27.0.1? I have Siri turned off (the Siri settings screen has the "Turn on Siri") option, so setting up the talk to Siri functionality is obviously not needed. However, unlike the other nags (please purchase these subscriptions, AppleCare, etc) the usual approach of clicking through to the next screen and then backing out doesn't work.

iPhone 18 Pro, iOS 27

To completely remove the Set up Talk to Siri banner from your Settings screen when Siri is turned off, you can block it using Screen Time restrictions, as standard dismissal methods do not clear it.

How to Hide the Siri Setup Banner via Screen Time

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap Screen Time. (If you haven't enabled Screen Time yet, follow the setup prompts first.)
  3. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
  4. Tap Intelligence & Siri (or Siri & Dictation depending on your exact sub-version).
  5. Toggle Off Siri & Dictation (or switch access to Don't Allow).

Long time since I've done this and can't test it but it's something like this. Tap on the nag in settings and it should take you to setting up Siri. Don't do anything or toggle one of the settings on and off. Exit settings. It ought to disappear.

If those exact steps don't work then, basically, you have to respond to the nag but you don't have to set up Siri in any way that you want it.
