Heads up to Veterans: The military discount caps HomePods at 3 — impossible to build a full 4-speaker setup

I wanted to post a warning for any fellow veterans planning to use the Veterans & Military discount to build an Apple TV 4K surround sound system: Apple limits you to purchasing only 3 HomePods per calendar year.

How does a company that prides itself on seamless ecosystem design set an arbitrary cap of 3 speakers when anyone trying to set up surround sound needs 4 (front pair + rear pair)?

You get all the way through cart setup expecting to complete your home theater, only to get blocked from buying the final speaker at the discount. Having to pay full price elsewhere or wait out a yearly reset just to get an even pair is absurd.

Save yourself the headache before budgeting around the veteran discount for an Apple TV audio setup. Apple really needs to adjust this limit to 4 so an actual surround sound configuration is actually achievable.
