Mac mini not recognizing keyboard after plugging in wireless mouse

I' ve plugged my wireless mouse into my mac mini and it dosen't recognise my keyboard anymore. I' ve tried restarting, unplugging, and everything, but when I try to swich keyboard layouts it dosen't recognize my keys.

My keyboard is a hungarian layout Keychron C3 Pro 8k. When I pugged my mouse into my mac the keyboard setup assistant popped up, and I closed it.

Since the issue started after connecting your wireless mouse and closing the macOS Keyboard Setup Assistant, I suggest trying the following steps to identify the cause.

  1. Disconnect your wireless mouse's USB receiver from the Mac mini.
  2. Unplug your Keychron keyboard and reconnect it directly to another USB port on the Mac mini.
  3. Open a text editor and check whether the keyboard registers any key presses.
  4. If the keyboard responds but the keys are incorrect, navigate to System Settings → Keyboard → Text Input → Edit and ensure the Hungarian keyboard layout is selected.
  5. If available, reopen Keyboard Setup Assistant from the Keyboard settings and follow the instructions to identify your keyboard.

If the issue persists, could you please confirm the following?

  • Does the keyboard respond to any key presses, or is it completely unresponsive?
  • Does the keyboard's backlighting turn on when connected?
  • Which exact model is your Mac mini?
  • Which macOS version are you currently using?
  • What brand and model is your wireless mouse?

This information will help us determine whether the issue is related to keyboard detection, the input layout, or a USB device conflict.
