Mac mini Wi-Fi icon shows arrow symbol with dual connection

I am connected to the Internet on my Mac mini by both WiFi and Ethernet. In Tahoe OS26 my Menu Bar at the top of my screen always showed the normal Wi-Fi symbol or icon. I uploaded Golden Gate OS27. Now I see, in place of the Wi-Fi icon a right arrow and left arrow with 3 dots between. Is this customary in the menu bar for other users connected to the Internet by both Wi-Fi and Ethernet?

Mac mini, macOS 27.0

As Phil0124 already commented, "Wired Ethernet users will appreciate a new icon that hides the Wi-Fi status icon and shows an Ethernet status icon instead when you only have an Ethernet connection or when your Mac is connected to both. This is the way Windows has handled it for as long as I can remember, and it may save you a trip to System Settings if you just want to check basic connectivity information."
