Why can't my Apple Watch Ultra 2 not make/receive calls when away from my phone. My old watch worked really well. I've spent hours every month or so trying to troubleshoot with Verizon to no avail. We get it to work and then it doesn't. Please someone help. I need this because I am old and I fall.
If Verizon can’t get it to work, see if T-Mobile or AT&T or another carrier can get your iPhone and your Watch working.
Otherwise, in one case I had, the carrier’s own cellular plan was apparently incompatible with Watch, and the various reseller store reps hadn’t realized it.
Once a carrier’s own store got that sorted — they either knew the plan rules better, or knew who to ask? — it was all transferred onto a different carrier plan*, and it all worked.
*Yes, there was a price increase involved.
