The iOS 27.0.1 calendar gives a cramped, tiny font view of the day. I want my old, easy to read calendar view back. Is it possible to get the prior iOS day view in the calendar?

I was also upset about the new calendar views in iOS 27.0.1 and was about to send some scathing feedback to Apple; I'm glad I didn't hit "Submit." It took me a few days but I found how to return to the view I wanted. In Calendar, tap the back button on top left till you have zoomed out and can see several months at once. Then tap on a specific day, and it will zoom in to the month's view. Now tap on the symbol designating view options to the right of the magnifying glass. The list reads Compact, Stacked, Details, List. (My favorite is List with a split screen -- top is the month, bottom half shows one day's appointments.) Those showed what I was previously seeing before the update. Now if you choose any of the others besides List, you can then tap again on a specific day, then tap on the view options symbol and a menu appears showing Single Day, Multi Day, and List. Two different menus of view options -- a bit tricky to figure out how to toggle between them! Hope this was both coherent and helpful.

I can't say that I see much difference. You might consider switching to the list view. Or, find a third-party calendar app that better meets your needs.
