How to revert iPhone 16 Pro Calendar format after update

I have the iPhone 16Pro and the new update 10-19 2026 changed format of calendar and I hate it. I need to be able to choose the format. It is too difficult to know what I have on any given day. Apple needs to let us choose. How can I go back to calendar format I know and like?

Hi there


Please try this

  1. Open the Calendar app on your iPhone 16 Pro.
  2. Navigate to the Month view (e.g., tap the back arrow if you are stuck looking at a specific day or year).
  3. Look at the top-right corner of the screen, just to the left of the search magnifying glass icon. You will see a Month View/Layout icon (it looks like a small square layout or dropdown button).
  4. Tap that icon and select List from the options.
