Meridian watch face on Apple Watch SE does not display custom colors

Apple Watch SE (series 1)

WatchOS 26 (last available version)

The face "Meridiano" (I guess "Meridian" in English) is not showing the right color.

I really like this face, and I tried it on different models and it work fine.

On my model it does not give me the possibility to change color. The clock hands are just not showing up when trying to edit the color [see screenshots attached].

If I add the face from iPhone, the editing phase works fine on iPhone, but the customised color does not appear on the Watch.

It's like my model refuses to accept different colours than the default one.

If your screen accidentally has an accessibility filter active, colors will appear grayed out or entirely invisible.

  • On your iPhone: Open the Watch app → Accessibility → Ensure Grayscale is toggled Off.
  • On your Apple Watch: Go to Settings → Accessibility → Ensure Grayscale is turned Off.

2. Force Sync the Watch Face

If the color edits you make in the iPhone app refuse to carry over to your Apple Watch, the sync engine may be temporarily stuck

  1. On your iPhone Watch app, select your custom Meridian face and tap Set as current Watch Face.
  2. If it still shows the wrong color, delete the face completely from the iPhone app (scroll to the bottom of the face's settings and tap Remove Watch Face).
  3. Restart both your iPhone and Apple Watch SE.
  4. Go back to the Face Gallery on your iPhone, recreate the Meridian face with your desired color, and add it again.
