Please lock my account

Someone has access to my apple account which I had 20 years ago when it was apple ID. I don't use it. They have changed the security questions ao I can't get in, but I can change the password. I contacted support and they said there is nothing they can do, but I want to know if I can escalate it and have then lock the account so no one can use it. Until then I just have to keep changing the password, but whoever it is is able to change the password right back.

Unless you can find a way to prove to Apple's satisfaction that you are the account owner then Apple will understandably refuse to lock it for you. How would they know you aren't somebody trying to play a mean trick on somebody?

The people on this forum are customers like your and we have no access to any special services or accounts. If the other party have that level of control over the account then it is no longer your account.
