I can Swipe Phone from Lock Screen and Unlock it.. But then the Bar goes away???

My phone can be swiped up to unlock but then once I get into my phone the white bar on the bottom disappears. I tried fixing it in setting (told Siri bring me to home screen and then went into settings) and now settings is frozen too.. I tried resetting it and nothing happened. I can scroll down however and get back to the now unlocked lock screen and also swipe down to get to the volume and brightness control. I just can't swipe up to change apps. How do I fix this? Do I have to use Siri for the rest of my life?

The "bar" is not visible at the bottom of my iPhone and I can "drag" from the center bottom of the screen up and the app switcher appears.

So, the fact that the bar is not appearing at the bottom of the screen is not the issue here.

As Mac Jim ID says, it is more of a "drag" than a "swipe". Most users swipe much faster than they drag.

Try experimenting with the speed of the "drag" up to the center of the screen.

Yes I agree but I literally can't swipe up and I might've used the wrong terminology but I just want my phone fixed. It quite literally won't let me get out of apps unless I ask Siri to go to the home screen and usually when I use the app switch feature with the white bar once it disappears it reappears whenever you use it, its not reappearing and it is also not letting me get out of the app entirely.
