iPhone 17 pro microphone do Not work

Hi,

I now have my second iPhone 17 Pro, and both devices have exactly the same issue. Siri doesn’t respond to my voice, I can’t record voice messages in apps, and the dictation feature in Notes doesn’t work either.

Phone calls and videos work fine.

I’ve already tried everything I could find online, but nothing has helped so far.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Please try this

. Check App and Dictation Microphone Permissions

Voice messages in third-party apps and dictation require explicit privacy permissions.

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.
Make sure each app you are trying to use (like WhatsApp, Telegram, or Notes) has the toggle turned on. If it is already on, toggle it off and back on.

2. Check Multiple Microphone Routing (iPhone 17 Pro layout)

The iPhone 17 Pro has multiple microphones: a bottom mic, a front/earpiece mic (used for front-facing video, FaceTime, and voice commands), and a rear camera mic.

Remove your phone case and screen protector temporarily. Some cases or rugged bumpers block the front earpiece area or the top/front mic array used by Siri and dictation.
Gently clean the top earpiece area and bottom microphone ports with a soft, dry brush.
