How do you access old drawings made in iMessage? They're no longer available as of a recent iOS update.

I'm running iOS 27.0.1 on an iPhone 13 Pro. After a recent iOS update, I lost the ability to access my handwritten drawings made in iMessage. Previously, switching to landscape mode would provide a "squiggle" button to access a library of drawings or create a new one. That feature is gone. Now, the drawing tool is available from the '+' menu to the left of the input field, but the old drawings are not available. Is there any way to get access to those old drawings? I have 12+ years of drawings that I now can't access. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
