I have update my iPad to ios27. Now I can’t use messaging. It tells me MMS must be enabled. When I go to the app it wants me to create an account. What can I do?

There is no MMS setting for an ipad, only an iphone.
You need to have this set up Forward text messages from your iPhone to other devices - Apple Support
