I had no trouble obtaining an appointment at the Genius Bar for later this afternoon.

If the Apple Store is not that convenient for you, check to see if there is an Authorized Apple Service Provider (ASAP) in your area. In most cases, you do not need an appointment, but it would be a good idea to call in advance.

Regarding your question.......we are all users here on this user-to-user site......just like you. Apple is not here. They will not see your post or reply.

We can't answer for Apple, but personally I have always received prompt and courteous service whenever an Apple product needed some attention.

Since this forum is populated entirely by other users, we have no idea why Apple hasn't contacted you.

The OP told us that they have contacted a service center and were told that it will be a week before they can look at the iPhone. Unless the OP lives in a very isolated area, there are likely some alternatives for service.

Had no problem getting my Battery replaced. Support was great, dropped phone off, went to lunch, and picked it up after that. No issues at all.

Why you are waiting a week, who knows. Your experience does not seem to be the same as others.
