Mac Pro 6,1 (2013) Trashcan Documentation

I've just received a Mac Pro 6,1 (2013) which works seems to work fine. Came with Mavericks but I've updated it boot Sequoia no.

However, the apple website seems very sparse on any documents/article on it.

Are there any archived places that contain the original manuals which I assume had details of the ports, RAM, Disk, how to upgrade etc. So far I'm going on educated guesswork and some very bad web searches.

Thanks.

The Thunderbolt-2 ports in this Mac were supposed to set the world on fire. that did not happen, unless you wanted to connect 6 displays, or already have a Thunderbolt-2 dock on hand, they are not good for Drives and peripherals other than displays.

But the USB ports are USB-3 and can be used to connect external drives and other devices.

Thanks for that picture. I 've sinc also found an archived post at Mac Pro (Late 2013): installing or replacing memory – Apple Support (UK)

as well as https://forums.macrumors.com/attachments/mp-2013-late-pdf.909835/ for the full service manual.

I realise Thunderbolt-2 won't be of much use to me, but I wanted an x86 based Mac to run some stuff that hasn't been migrated to ARM and well as some native VMware x86 windows stuff I didn't want to lose (XP based).

So far, I've been impressed. The initial boot into Mavericks was a blast from the past when I got it, but OpenCorePatcher has done me proud for Sequoia.

I think I have probably enough now since I'm not going to be doing any major upgrade work on it at all.

Thanks again for your help.
