Siri does not say Huh anymore.

It's really frustrating, siri on my iPhone 13 pro max is still responding with "huh" which I appreciate specially when I try to find my phone.

I”d again suggest stopping with the pausing.

Siri will respond to “Hey Siri Find My iPhone”, when “Hey Siri” is enabled, and within voice rqnfe.

On my 17 pro max she's slilent and most of the time she lights up but then doesn't respond to my request

The iPhone 13 Pro Max does not support Apple Intelligence, where the iPhone 17 Pro Mac does and can have that enabled. That is the difference in the visual response, and can explain other differences.

As for not responding to commands, which Siri voice commands might those be?

And I’d again suggest appending the command immediately after the ”Hey Siri”; with no pause and with no expending of the “um” prompting.

FWIW, this isn’t particularly new. iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 models, and later iPhone models, when running iOS 18 and later, and with Apple Intelligence enabled, use that colorful glowing edge effect.

As for the “um”, I haven’t heard that in many years. Not since I learned to segue into the command after the “Hey Siri”.

I updated my iphone 17pro to IOS 27.0.1 and now me saying "Hey Siri" causing flashing colors around the screen, and Siri says nothing. Why???

That's now how Siri works with Siri AI. A lot of people complained about Siri saying huh, so maybe that's why Apple changed it? But then this is a user to user only forum, not Apple Support and we users are not associated with Apple, so we can't speak for Apple.

You're welcome.
