Why do some apps on Roku say my network is down when using a Netgear rs70?

I have a regular tv. I have Roku separately. Some of my apps like facebook say my network is down. I purchased a Netgear rs70 and still have the same problem. I called spectrum, Roku, and Netgear and still nothing. My tv works and my apps on my phone like Amazon all work. Help
