Brand new pro pencil charger issue

brand new apple pencil isnt charging it come with 50% or something but it has hard a hard time connecting to the iPad to charge I have removed case I have done all updates to the iPad I have restarted my iPad as well as cleaned all connections.

it says it is charging for 1 second then it will not be charging and this happens over and over again.

the pencils was bought 2-3 weeks ago and have had to really watch the battery and make sure it’s charging

You would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to hands-on test and assess your iPad and Apple Pencil. Here you will be in the best possible place to explore your available options:

we have got it finally connected and it says it’s is charging but it’s been on the charger for 3 hours and it’s keeps saying the pencil is at 1%
