macOS Sequoia 15.8.2 desktop scrolls and windows hide when moved

In Sequoia 15.8.2 if I move a single window to left or right the desktop scrolls quickly to the opposite side still leaving me with an intact desktop.

If I have 2 windows open and move 1 window to the right the other window hides to the left.

In order to get both back I need to move the right window to the left to see both windows.

Settings In Desktop and Dock:

Desktop and Stage manager: on Desktop is checked. Click wallpaper: only in stage manager

Stage Manager: recent apps is off, show windows one at a time

I can't turn on Drag Windows, hold option key or tiled windows have margins.

Mission control: all options are off

Hot Corners: all are off.

Whatever is doing this, I would prefer it be off.

Thanks

Fixed !!

Though I thought that Mission control was disabled, when clicking f3, I saw a second desktop, which when "un x d" solved the problem.

Is the behavior you describe occurring in the Finder, or when using apps in windowed mode i.e. not full screen, or all the time?

Confirm the behavior is strictly confined to the iMac's internal display and that you are not using any external displays.

One explanation may be that you are using some kind of "display zoom" setting that is not showing the entire Desktop.

Change Zoom settings for accessibility on Mac - Apple Support

Investigate that possibility.
